Facilities for joining National Cadet Crops and National service Scheme are available in the College. Willing students may contact the respective Profs. in-charge for enrolment.
There is a career guidance and Counseling cell in the College. It gives information about various employment schemes and competitive examination from time to time. The Career Guidance cell also provides training for various competitive examinations to the needy students from time to time. Mr. Prithiraj Borkakoty, Assistant Professor, Department of English is the Coordinator of the Career Guidance cell.
The college has introduced remedial course for SC/ST students and also for aid weak students. Remedial classes are held in the month of June to March.
The college provides extension education to nearby villages and educate the villagers in various spheres of life. It organizes various meetings and seminars in the college and nearby villages from time to time. Prof. G.M. Deva Sarma is the co-ordinator of the centre and he has conducted various workshops and training meets in this regard. Several self-help groups have been benefitted by their association with this centre.
Central Library of Raha College, founded at the time of inception of the college it self is a rich library. Presently it has got a collection of 15,000 books and a large collection of jurnals and periodicals. The library remains open from 9 AM to 4.30 PM photostate facility is abailably at the library at normal for students of thje college. A general course is given two library cards. Students offering major course are given two extra cards. A student has to deposite 10/- per library card along with library from within one month from the date of admission.
The college has introduced monthly unit test for all students. Attendance in unit tests in compulsory. No application seeking exemption from appearing in the examinations will be entertained except under unavoidable circumstances
The college authority will provide special facilities to the promising students of the college who secure first division in H.S. final examination and first class in degree course or highest mark in any subject in any final examination .
The college has one boys' for hostel within the college Campus. The number of seats available are 18. Hostel seats are allotted at the time of admission on the basis of merit.
The College provides facilities for outdoor and indoor games. An indoor stadium-cum-auditorium is on the verge of Completion and it will provide ample facilities for indoor games like badminton and vollyball. The College also has a full fledged gymnasium including multi-gym.
The College has common rooms both for the boys and the girls. There are plans afoot to provide cosy and comfortable common rooms.
The College has a Canteen in its Campus. Student can have refreshment in the Canteen during the College hour.
Students may apply for national scholarship, state merit scholarship, SC/ST/OBC scholarship according to their choice and eligiblity subject to a minimum of 75 % attandance in the classes held and mainteance of good character and conduct.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC): As per revised NAAC guideline for quality upgradation of institution of higher education, an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been constituted with wide ranging powers. In order to make a significant and meaningful contribution in the post accreditation phase, the (IQAC) meets from time to time and makes plan to improve the over¬all quality of the college.
Grievance Redressal Cell: A grievance redressal Cell is working in the college to look into the complaints of the students, staff and guardians. Any complaint may be lodged in writing and dropped in the wooden box installed near the Principal’s room.
There is a first-aid centre in the college which offers emergency medical aid to the students and staff of the college.
