Library Sections

Stack Area Section: Students can visit the stacks and collect their important books.


Technical Section: It is a most important section of a library. This section is responsible for processing of books. Classification, Cataloguing, barcoding and other technical process are included in this section.


Circulation Section: For circulation section we use SOUL 3.0 library software (developed by INFLIBNET centre, Ahmadabad) Students can issue, return, renew and reserve books from this section.


Reference Section: The reference section comprises of Dictionary, Thesaurus, Encyclopedias, Rasanawalis and various valuable books of different subjects. Users are not allowed to borrow books from this section.


Periodical Section: It comprises of Magazines, Print journal etc.


Newspaper Section: Newspapers have been displayed separately on Newspaper Reading Table.


Reprographic Section: Library users have easy access to photocopying facilities, which enable them to reproduce required material from books and journals.


Digital Library Section: The RLB Central Library has a digital section. Through, this section, the library provides various e-resources. Basically, it provides institutional repositories.


New Arrival Display Section: Newly processed books are kept at a prominent place for one week or more to attract and to bring these to the notice of the users.


OPAC Section: Through OPAC, Users can search the book by title
